Little known fact is the Colwell Winfield Blues Band was Van Morrisson's band for the album Moondance! In a 1985 article Van said, "I found a band that was able to play what I heard. I did the Woodstock Festival and the band on it was the Colwell Winfield Blues Band and that was most of the band that played on the album Moondance!!!"
